“The heart of God yearns over His earthly children with a love stronger than death. In giving up His Son, He has poured out to us all heaven in one gift. The Saviour’s life and death and intercession, the ministry of angels, the pleading of the Spirit, the Father working above and through all, the unceasing interest of heavenly beings,—all are enlisted in behalf of man’s redemption.” – Ellen White, Steps to Christ 21.2
Wow! What a wonderful reminder! Our Heavenly Father delights in giving us His countless blessings each day. Heaven is His Costco and we get to have individual gold memberships! Not through our loved ones and friends, but through His Son, our Redeemer, Jesus Christ! How about that?! And it gets even better! Each day it brings Dad joy to forgive us and supply our needs…in bulk. Not paid for at the cashier with American Express, Visa or MasterCard…but with the life of Jesus Christ on Mount Calvary. With His death He paid the price of our sins. Let us make each day of our lives a paragraph in our lifelong “Thank You” card to our Heavenly Supplier and Giver.
Happy Tuesday, beautiful world! Smile! ☺
One of my favorite memories from camp meeting.
I want to be ready when Jesus comes,
I want to be ready when Jesus comes,
Earth’s pleasures grow dim,
While I’m waiting for Him,
Lord, keep me till Jesus comes.

Dear Diary, // “Jesus is…”
_______________
Written and composed on February 23, 2012. Song details:
- Dear Diary. This is the first addition to “Dear Diary,”, a collection of musical entries on thoughts and reflections on God’s blessings.
- Inspiration. This song was inspired by this beautiful day. When I stepped outdoors, I couldn’t help but notice the breeze and the smiling sun peeking through the clouds. The sky was blue and perfect. Just like exposure to the sun, helps release serotonin and gives us many positive benefits, communing with Jesus also yields cheerfulness, optimism, and strength in us. :)

Every culture since the dawn of time has told fantastical tales of heroes that have saved humanity from some unspeakable evil. The effect these mythological tales had on humanity when the true Savior Jesus Christ arrived on Earth was devastating, many didn’t recognize Him because they were seeking a much different hero. Did the Devil blind us from Christ’s first coming by flooding the world with counterfeits of God’s prophesies? Since Super Heroes in comics are based on classical myths, is the Devil blinding us again from the greatest supernatural event the world will ever witness, Christ’s second coming?
Superman, Batman, Thor, and many more make their appearances and unmask their true colors in this ever so clear evidentiary documentary. This should be the last Super Hero movie you ever watch!

The Same Moon
by Aiane Karla
On my way home from visiting my former high school tonight, I began to feel homesick. Homesick can sometimes mean a plethora of things. That’s something I was reminded of tonight as I felt homesick for some parts and periods of my life.
On the drive back home from Calhoun, my sister, Zyndee, called me on the phone. She mentioned she was getting ready to go on a walk at Cranes Roost Park, my favorite place in Florida. With the stroke of her verbal paintbrush, she began painting for me a vivid description of the moon. I could see it in my mind’s eye: a bright yellow moon glowing in the sky. Smiling. Confident. Sanguine.
What’s Mine is Yours

It was dinner time on Christmas Day last year. Christmas songs were playing in the background, adding to the gaiety of the evening. The tree was lit. The fire on our fake electric fireplace was all aglow. My family was gathered around the table with faces beaming. We were once again complete and all together in one place. My dad said grace and we began eating.
As dinner neared its end, my father, who always makes sure his ladies get a taste of everything before he does, was getting ready to taste a slice of a dish a family friend of ours had given us for Christmas. It wasn’t a big slice.
