Yesterday was an absolutely beautiful fall Sunday. The cool September breeze enveloped just about anyone who was outside. It was also the perfect day for my mom to celebrate her birthday. Happy Birthday, Mother! :) The moment I stepped out of the house I knew I would spend most of the day outside.I simply couldn’t stay away from the music of the serenading birds and the gentle hugs of the breeze. Here are a few pictures I took yesterday. Welcome, September! Welcome, cool weather! :)
What fun memories did you get to make yesterday? Care to share some of the highlights from your Sunday?

Afternoon hike at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park. I love when the trees reach out to ‘hold hands’ in the middle. (Taken with Instagram)
Some hearts are a little rough around the edges…and sometimes they shed a few tears. (Taken with Instagram at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park)

Looking for bonsai and calamondin trees in Orlando, FL. Purchased a pachira aquatica (aka money tree), my very first house plant…and decided to call it “Faith” to remind me of a recent big miracle (first photo on the second row) that grew my faith. Oh, and check out those awesome big wind chimes! They are tuned by the people at the Smithsonian Institute. So far the best sounding chimes I have ever seen. The elderly lady’s son now owns the nursery but it used to be hers, and before that it was her dad’s. The current nursery building used to be the house she grew up in. So fabulous to find awesome places and hear about their history!

Beautiful birds outside the kitchen and living room windows a few weeks ago. Gotta remember to always have the dSLR camera by the window from now on. The birds that have been stopping by for seeds and nectar are so beautiful! :)
