My Egypt
As part of my morning devotional this morning, I read Matthew 2 and read about how God gave Joseph specific instructions to follow in order to keep Jesus safe and alive. When King Herod saw that he had been mocked by the wise men, he was furious and decided to kill all the children in Bethlehem that were two years old and younger. By the time Herod’s soldiers came to kill the children, Joseph, Mary and the baby Jesus had already left for Egypt.
They were safe because they heeded God’s instructions.
This is such a powerful testimony! It is definitely worth listening to! God is real and is able to deliver us from the bondage of our painful past. I praise God for the power of this young man’s testimony.
